This belief is at the heart of everything we do at Telerik Academy. For 15 years, our efforts have been dedicated to shaping our shared future. In a world where the shelf life of skills is around 4 years (for tech skills even shorter), staying relevant means constant growth and improvement. This is the message we pass on to you - our learners and partners, and it is the mindset we embody every day. 

As we reflect on 2024, we are proud to say that this year has been a true testament to resilience and character - not only in all that we do at Telerik Academy but also in the determination and growth mindset demonstrated by you (our learners). We have been deeply inspired by your drive to develop, adapt, and succeed. It has been a year of transformation, where we took proactive steps to shape our future by introducing programs and formats tailored to your evolving needs, and organizations alike. For instance, we expanded our portfolio with leadership and data-focused programs to address critical gaps, and we introduced new flexible formats (such as short 2-week trainings and evening classes for our 6-month Alpha program), to better fit your dynamic lives and training needs.

Alpha in numbers   

In 2024, we successfully conducted 11 Alpha programs, with over 2,800 individuals showing interest in  Telerik Academy Alpha. Those enrolled in the program have   a satisfaction score of over 94%, a testament to the quality of our training and the improvements we’ve implemented. From our conversations with you and the feedback we received, we recognized the need for greater flexibility to help you get started more easily and without causing major disruptions in your daily life. Thus, we enhanced the fundamentals materials used for entrance exam preparation, transforming them into a self-paced format. Additionally, we emphasized the blended format of the training thus putting focus on practice to ensure that the learning experience remains aligned with real-business needs. 

By closely monitoring the situation and engaging in conversations with businesses, we gained valuable insights that guided our approach. To align with market demands, we maintained small group sizes. This also provided our learners with more opportunities for hands-on practice and personalized feedback—ensuring a tailored and impactful learning experience for each participant. 

We’ve also made sure that you have access to the business world by securing partnerships with a wide range of companies that collaborate with Telerik Academy. This increases your chances of achieving faster career progression after completing the program. At the same time, our strong connections with the industry allow us to continuously refine the Alpha program content to align with the evolving needs of the business. 

To better suit your needs and make it easier for you to determine if programming is the right fit for you, we’ve also designed a new evening format for the Alpha program, extending its duration from 6 to 9 months. This flexible option allows those of you who are uncertain about pursuing a career in programming to explore the field while balancing your studies with work and other commitments. The first Alpha Java evening program will start at the beginning of 2025.  

Upskill in numbers 

This year, we doubled the number of Upskill programs —from 6 in 2023 to an impressive 12 in 2024- to enable you to acquire the most up-to-date skills. Nearly 2,800 individuals expressed interest in advancing their skills through our programs. The average satisfaction score across all programs reached an impressive 91%, with the UX/UI Design program standing out at an exceptional 97%. 

In response to evolving market demands, we expanded our program portfolio to include topics that go beyond traditional tech skills. These additions reflect the growing importance of leadership and data expertise in today’s professional landscape. Our new offerings include Leadership programs such as Tech Leadership, Mini MBA, and Women in Leadership, as well as Data-focused programs like Data Analyst and Data Engineer. 

Evolving Alongside Shifting Landscapes 

To address the rising demand for professionals equipped with practical skills that deliver immediate results or solve specific challenges, we’ve introduced a new format of short, intensive 2-week Sprint trainings. These programs focus on in-demand topics such as AI, Marketing, and HR, to meet your demands as a professional.  Our Sprint trainings are packed with practical, easy-to-apply insights, helping you level up fast and make a real impact in your work.

This journey is driven by our belief that progress stems from continuous improvement and that, together, we can create meaningful change. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to introduce a range of enhancements to our Alpha programs, alongside new practical, self-paced Sprint trainings and a transformative 3-month Upskill training programs designed to equip you with in-demand skills.
